leather behavior
 

so i have had a finger leather in my tank for about 3 weeks now. everything was great, all its fur was out and it seemed happy. for the past 4 days its fur has been recessed. i think i remember reading that this behavior is usual and leathers do this sometimes. maybe it is getting ready to grow? what does it mean when they "slime" and what exactly does it look like? pictures maybe, anyone? anyone's experience with their leathers is appreciated. just interested in what i'm in for and what to expect. thanks.

It could be molting, put it in a high flow area for a few days.
