coralvue dimmable ballast, external automatic dimmer possible?

So I have a coralvue dimmable ballast, it is very cool, but you have to do it manually...is there anything I could hook this ballast up to, in order to have it be dimmed on a timer with out me having to do it? I am not sure about this sort of "electronical" stuff...just one of my crazy ideas, that is alot of the time not feasible, lol :) any thoughts or help would be great, TIA.

I would like to know if this is possible also. I have an Ice Cap dimmable ballast that you connect wires together to dim it.
