I see no reason to worry about high magnesium...

I see no reason to worry about high magnesium levels. Let them come down on there own.

I have been running my MAG levels high 1500+ to combat a little bryopsis in my tank. It seems to be working...

Schedule 80 bulk tank fittings from your local farm supply store. Cheaper than reular fittings at the lfs, & way better.

Do mandarin fish eat red bugs?

But I don't really see any damage from them, & my polyp extension also seems to be better than most.

I've read stories that some reefers don't...

The pods in the sand will die in the hypo-salinity water. Although the sand may give your goby something to do, & make him feel more at home.
