Confused with red algae

I have a problem with patchy red algae. I have recently also had a problem with diatoms which I have resolved with a change in my RO/DI filters, as my TDS was greater than 25%.

I am looking for some ideas to replace my apparently burned out aquamedic 3000 centrifical pump, I use this pump for top off with kalkwasser. Are any pumps more reliable, quieter, or pump more...

I have some small 2 X 2 mm, flat, orange -brown growths on some rocks. Can anyone show me a picutre of a flatworm so I can try to ID these.

I have never seen a gravity fed surge device in action. My question is the following:
How does the surge device not allow for a rush of bubbles enter the tank?

Tunze Warranty?

I have a tunze 1045 nanostream and the central metal rod fractured, will the company replace this pump or repair it. I have only had it running since july.
