when i moved i replaced my sand bed with a $3 bag...
when i moved i replaced my sand bed with a $3 bag of home depot sand. i just saved a cup full of sand from the old bed to seed the new bed.

i dont see how water can drain out of the pump if both ends of the loop are under water and it is primed... in order for the water to drain out air has to be able to come in.
