The guy that made the dome is crazy good at skimmer builds. You have to heat the acrylic and then you can use something to push the center of it to form a dome.

Just use pvc glue. takes about 15 min to cure. Best to run your lines straight as you can. I dont think it matters much on the drain but on the return the more turns the more you loose gph.

So I was at lowes today and noticed they have a strip of 20 blue led lights all wired and ready to plug in they are also on a 4 tap dimmer. Would this be good for moon lights? They cost 16 bucks

if you use weld on # 3 or 4 there is no need for...
if you use weld on # 3 or 4 there is no need for the silicone. But for peace of mind I guess. Silicone does not bond well to acrylic and will literally peel right off
