The shells should be fine. I'm not sure about bleaching the rock though. you might have contaminated it if you used bleach. After all it is porous.

The angel isn't nippin to harm the corals or the clam. It is trying to get to detritus and algae that is probably growing on them. I have a flame that did it for a few days and hasnt done it since....
