If you want to attach the rock the coral is growing on to some of your live rock you can use aquamend epoxy, you can find it at lowes or home depot in the glue department.

Yes mine does every once and awhile, as long as it keeps syphon and the flow is steady and your overflow is keeping up with your return pump you are fine.

T5ho is better than MH when it comes to lumen to watt and lumen to heat also.

Your tank should be L30 x W12 x D18 correct? At 18" deep and 12" wide I would suggest a 4-24W T5 HO...
