Custom overflow question

I built my own custom "wier" style as opposed to tooth style overflow box. I used the calculator to determine the liniar inches I needed to accomodate my inflow, whcih was approx 1,600 gph.

My only remaininig question is how do you calculate, or approximate the hieght of the water that flows over your wier into the box. The reason I need to know this is because I have an open topped, euro braced tank and I'm trying to set the water level just below the bracing rather than having a very noticable water line when viewing the tank.

Any ideas appriciated, MGB
