Which bit??
Ok I want to drill my glass tank for a 1 inch bulkhead and need a 1 3/4 inch hole. I look on E-bay for a diamond coated hole saw bit, but cant figure out which one to get or what mm to get. Could any of you pros help me out.

you need a diamond coated holesaw, you cn get them off ebay for a good price

I'll go out here at half time and see what size it is...I know you need the mm size. I got 3 in the garage, so I'll check for ya.

sorry bout that, i only read the first couple words on your post before i replied. to convert inches to mm just multiply by 25.4

For 1 inch bulkhead, use a 45mm bit, it drills around a 1.75" hole. HTH

I buy my hole saws from lau on ebay. He's in Hong Kong. Yep 45mm.
