URGENT MEETING NEWS_CANCEL OR POSTPONE 28th Swap?

Bad news everyone:

Due to a funeral the meeting for Sunday must be postponed or moved. We can postpone for a few weeks and have it at in the beginning of November.

It is a bit late in the game for a move, I suppose we could have it at the shop like the old days but I don't care what you choose.

It's your choice though, postpone or relocate for Sunday.

Make your decision fast only a few days left.

you know, i just thought of something, what about the people that seen the advertisements for the meeting,& dont know its being moved (hopefully) thats going to end up showing up to a funeral with a bag of coral just a thought

With everything that's going on right now in my life a postpone would mean my chances of coming and doing my demo would diminish greatly so I say relocate even if it's the parking lot beside the funeral home in the middle of a blizzard!!!!!!!!!!

Ok just got of the phone with Barry and he says to bring the meeting back home.

Sunday will be fine, we are going to re-arrange some stuff and make room for you all.

Sellers we are limited on space so try not to bring anything larger than a 4 foot table please. If you are selling please post here and let me know so I can reserve a space for you.

Phil and Michael are reserved so far.

I will bring the food table, that will be the biggest one there

Once again make sure to tell every member you know that the meeting has been moved to the shop.

Marry send out a blanket mail to every member of this change as well.


Can't really complain much since this is the first funeral on a Sunday in about 2 years, it was bound to happen one day.

I will bring some kind of a dessert. We need to round up the supplies I stashed at Cook's. (cups, plates & napkins). I did not check on how much paper products we had left from last meeting.

I hope you guys can make it, it will be sort of like a home coming in a way. Chris or anyone else, bring whatever you want to trade, sell etc don't matter. Just remember space is limited. We will put tables up front where the tanks are and have the screen where we used to place it.

I just received a call from the guy I get the AV stuff from and everything is available for this weekend except the camera. Fortunately Lana and I still have our old camera that can be used.

I recall Barry mentioning that he experienced some "missing items" during the meetings at his shop. Like, people may have been "lifting" things. All Club members, please keep your eyes peeled for such behavior. Help protect Barry. He's very generous to let us do this.

Oh, yeah. I'm not bringing anything to sell, but will bring some kind of food item. And I can help with anything that needs helping with.

thanks for reserving a place for me i will be there this time, bringing some frags, most nothing special, but two has never been seen at a meeting before (at least aquacultered anyway)

We still need some refreshments and ice. We have been consuming about 5-6 2 ltrs per meeting. Any donations would be appreciated. All left overs go back into the stash for the next get together.

Good point try parking around the block, try not to block the house next door to the shop on 10th street. You can also park across the street. Leave the spot behind the shop (where Barry parks) open as well in case one of us has to leave during the meet. Should be no problem we used to get close to 100 people in there on the old meet/auction days.

Just to clarify this so there is no misinterpretation or trouble from anyone out there who may miss-understand these events.

This is a 100% non-auction event

we are having it in the shop this time because our usual place is unavailable. This is a CVRC function and not related to business in anyway, Barry invited us back because Sundays are usually slow enough to deal with the crowd simple as that. To the CVRC vets, we are simply going back to where we started for a brief visit.
