coralvue dimmable ballast, external automatic dimmer possible?

So I have a coralvue dimmable ballast, it is very cool, but you have to do it manually...is there anything I could hook this ballast up to, in order to have it be dimmed on a timer with out me having to do it? I am not sure about this sort of "electronical" stuff...just one of my crazy ideas, that is alot of the time not feasible, lol any thoughts or help would be great, TIA.


Edit... could I modify this http://www.amazon.com/3BM-REMOTE-CON.../dp/B000EY111O and hook it up to the ballast and use its timer...

I would like to know if this is possible also. I have an Ice Cap dimmable ballast that you connect wires together to dim it.
