i wonder if i'll get fired

one of amy's clients just left. old bat. i hate this woman, she is always such a smarty pants (i'm being SO kind here).

she hands me a check for fees. here's the conversation:

her: i tried to come in here several times and amy was always gone.

me: sorry you missed her. amy had a death in her family and she was out of the office for several days.

her: gee! you two seem to be passing that problem around!

me: excuse me??

her: well, didn't you just have a death, too?

i won't tell you the rest because it isn't fit to print. i just continue to be amazed at the IDIOTS i am finding in this world.

Well, Nina, I have every bit of confidence that you told the old bag where to go.

You should have told her that you and Amy are the Grim Reaper, and she's next.

You wont get fired for that. You'll just have to try harder next time.

Good for you too BTW.

Nina, you'd have to become a client of your boss to get fired. Come to think of it, I doubt you'd get fired then. I wish could have been a fly on that wall!

Sounds like you let her off easy to me Nina. Liz would have ripped her a new one after you finished with her for sure.

Nina, I have faith that the poor old bat left in a daze, with tears in here eyes, and something very large shoved up some orfice where the sun don't shine.

I'm surprised the office didn't experience the death of a client at that point...after the check cleared of course.

Wow Nina, how DO these people find you?????

Now if she had good judgement, she probably wouldn't have required your services, right?

The world is full of them Nina, you just seem to find more than your share of them.

nah then she would be the "in house" council for all her "girls", heck the money they would save on phone call would be worth it
