Went to this place today and while the website may be informative to a certain extent, I wouldn't feel comfortable buy anything from them.

They work out of a warehouse district with two bays which is extremely cluttered and tanks have extreme amounts of algae. The corals did seem healthy, but I didn't spend alot of time there.

I'm sure there are better online distributors, do your research.

They were the only ones with a decent selection of macro algea and they were in Florida. So I ordered from them last weekend. It was Wednesday before I got an order confirmation and the order still hasn't shipped. Needless to say, I am trying to cancel my order.

He doesn't have half the stuff in stock that he show's online ...and has NO EQUIPMENT ..... and he shows it online.

I've read many of the old threads too. So old, in fact, that I can't believe that they are still in existance. I found threads from 2001 and 2002 talking about what a rip-off they were.

As soon as I saw the word "AquaCon" my immediate reaction was "Oh no, they're still at it!" My experience with them was terrible. It took weeks to receive my order (so long in fact, I almost forgot about it). And when it finally shipped, I didn't even get what I requested. I wouldn't recommend doing ONLINE business with AquaCon.

Yeah, my order never got canceled even though I told them to cancel it a week before it shipped.

They messed up my order the first time. I do have some nice corals from them.. Sun Coral, Blue Zoa, Green Bubble, Frogspawn and Torch. All are healthy and came with no hitchhikers. I dipped them anways though.

Hey First
Most of us down here are from your neck of the woods. Nassau or Suffolk. Only smarter than you guys. My taxes are only $2,300 on a $500,000 home in Ft Lauderdale. No state tax and only 6% sales. Now who's "WISER"

Anyway as long as the really smart ones on this forun keep buying they will outlast all of you. They complain and still buy. Go Figure..........
