hello all - im hoping you can provide a little assistance with my colt coral

its pretty large in a 75g.. about 12 inches high and 4 large stalks at the base and many branches from them. the tips of it in certian spots are turning white. the rest.. below the tips are ok and i have even noticed new braches forming.

i have PC lights 4x65 watt (i know.. it was of those buys that you didnt research fully and price scared you) so lights i dont think is an issue. the bottom sits on the lower 1/3 of the tank or so.

not sure what is causing it... i have a phosban reactor running, small HOB refug. and my params are good.. although i cant test phosphate.. no tester (wish i won at the meeting a few months back

any insite would be great. this guy is great and perfect for a few frags!

The only think I can think of is that leather corals are very sensitive to newly made saltwater and it can cause them to melt. Did you just change some water? Also what is the temp of the tank?

hmm.. no new waterchanges.. Did one about 3 weeks ago. tank runs about 79 degrees. Im running excess carbon and changing it frequently. ill see how it goes.
