PhytoPlex Phytoplankton and my gorgonian
I recently decided to add a yellow gorgonian to my 55g tank.
I was told it needed high flow and to feed it Kent Marine PhytoPlex Phytoplankton... I want to make sure i am doing this right. My questions are? I have 2 - 1200 maxijets running top and bottom on the right side of the tank and the gorg is on the far left.. is the enough or to much flow? will my skimmer or HOB filter remove the photoplex from the water. i was told to feed it every other day? i am running 2 65watt 10,0000 and 2 65 watt atinics in my reef light. will this hurt the gorg and finally is Kent Marine PhytoPlex Phytoplankton the correct food for my gorgonian? again i just want to make sure i am doing what the gorg needs.\ thanks, james |

Gorgonians are deep water corals..that need very little light. Actually all atinic is best for them..as it wards of the growth of microalgae. They do like the strong water movenment. And do keep up the frequent water changes.,to help keep the microalgae at bay. Skimmer is a must on your tank, with or without the gorgonian of course..any thing else just ask.
