You don't really have to run a sump so long as you keep up with w/c's.

Personally I have a 10g under a 20H and a 5g under a 12.5g. I like to know I have a little more water volume. I also like the fact I can hide my heaters and skimmers in the sump.

SUMP, SUMP You don't need a stinking SUMP for a nano.

All you need is:

1) consistant W/C
2) consistant measuring of water chemistry
3) consistant delivery of food
4) consistant addition of additives
5) consistant opperation of filter/skimmer/macro algae.

Most important of all is to be CONSISTANT.

PS: Anyone that wants to donate a SUMP to me so I don't have to be CONSISTANT with anything, Pls let me know.
