fishes trapped ijn overflow

Anybody has this experince?

I have a potter and true percula stuck in there for the past 2 days. Cannot reach it beause of space constraints from the overflow pipe & durso.

Any ideas or pass experience.

This happens to me every once in a while. You will either have to figure a way to reach in there with a net, or turn off your return pump and then drain the water in the overflow down to a low enough level for the fish to still have enough water but not too much. Then you will have to attach a net to a pole/rod to reach down to the bottom to try and catch the fish.

That's all I can think of for now.

the easiest way is to get some veil material-stick a wad in there and the fish will get trapped then pull the whole thing-THATS THE EASIEST WAY. AND IT WORKS.

I had a percula clown do this when I first got him. I ended up getting him out by attaching a net to a long pole... Then to be on the safe side, I netted the holes on the overflow box so he wouldn't do it again.
