Fish Question
I curratly have a 30 gallon tank with 1 clown, 1 goby and 1 magenta dottyback. They have been in there 3 years. I also have a 10 gallon tank with 1 yellow tail damsel. It has been in there 2 years.
I am getting ready to take down the 30 gallon and replace it with a 54 gallon corner tank. I would like to take the damsel from the 10 and put it in the new tank with the other 3 fish. I have heard good and bad about the yellow tail damsels. What do you guys think? |

Ditch the damsel, if your other fish are doing fine don't let the damsel at them.

+1 damsels can wreak havoc on other fish. They are mean SOB's.

Our tanks are filled with homeless damsels that people bought to "cycle" there tanks. I beg new customers to just go slow and not to use any fish to cycle, especially damsels unless you want to tear the tank apart a month or so later to get them out so you can add your "nice" fish.

My Mother thinks they are beautiful so she always has to have them. But she can't keep any other fish in the tank because he kills them faster than she can buy them needless to say when I move the 125 from my brothers to her living room It will not be in there.
