Pics of tanks with coral glued to glass

My tank is small...and crowded. But the more I look around, the more corals I want. I've recently contemplated gluing some corals to my back glass. I think I have a good spot or two for some table acros.

If you have done this, could you post a pic help with aquascaping ideas? How well did it work for you?

You can buy frag mags so that you do not have to glue them directly to the glass. Also it is very easy to move a coral if it is not happy where you put it. I used several mags and placed acros on my overflow box.

here is a pic of a monti that I mounted to a DIY magnet, it is on the overflow box on the right, top of the pic. The coral has over tripled in size and grown to the acrylic. HTH

I love the idea of small magfloats, I've been looking at epoxy coated magnets. You can get some really strong ones. For the time being i've molded acrylic to hang down over the edge of the tank with holes for frags. I did the same thing to mount a large powerhead.

I used some Tunze's nylon screws to attach a plating LR to an algae-free magnet.

It's on the upper left corner:

I'm going to have to try this. I think a cool table sticking out of the glass could be pretty neat.

I actually made my own with magnets from http://www.kjmagnetics.com/

I just took a small piece of live rock, drilled a countersink hole, and epoxied one of the magnets in the hole. The mags I used are about $5 each, but I was going through 3/4" acrylic. They are much cheaper for thinner glass or acrylic. I bought the epoxy covered ones after discussing the application with them via email

I left a rock of yellow polyps leaning against my back glass for about a month. I decided
to move it and didn't realize 3 of the polyps had attached to the glass. When I moved
the rock, it ripped those 3 polyps off the rock and they stayed attached to the
glass.

I'm going to start growing zoas and mushrooms on my glass too.

i would make sure the magnets you use are completely sealed to insure they do not leach anything into your water.
