An ID on this is appreciated. It was quite pink when I first saw it but after a day or two it turned pale(maybe from the low lighting)

You lucky son of a gun.....that's an aptasia

You'll want to try and remove that asap, very unwanted, annoying pest. I personally use a syringe and inject em directly with vinegar, or I'll use joe's juice. Depend on my mood, but there are other methods of removal, such as the use of peppermint shrimps and/or pearscale butterfly's. Both of wich are iffy at best. My peppermints don't touch em at all and the last PS i bought ate my montipora's. So I don't like those methods but many people have had success with em. best of luck!

I agree GET RID A.S.A.P. Peppermint shrimps worked great for me, but only for the smaller ones, only add them if you have lots of these pests. I injected lemon juice into the larger ones and that finnished them for good.

You don't need to use very much of anything to get rid of aptasia. Then again, I suppose that depends on how much aptasia you have.

you can inject them with kalkwasser and water mix,seems to work if you get em good.

Since this one's attached to the glass, there's no need to inject it with anything. Just scrape it off the glass with a razor blade. Have a syphon tube running near while doing this so it's immediately sucked up.
