what is this?
I originally bought this frag for cheap money thinking it was a green tree coral like the one i had lost in a crash a while back.
Now I don't think that is what it is . It has the general shape but the color is not the same . Under the actinics my old one would glow in a beautiful green color while this one does not look nearly as good. so what is it? ![]()

Almost certainly a Sinularia sp., just like green tree coral.
It's pretty useless to ask for a name! Systematics of most soft corals is a mess... If you want to replace your green tree coral, I'd suggest you find someone near you who has what you want (or an online retailer who doesn't photoshop their pictures). Not very helpful I guess ![]() -R |
