Ideas for types of fish for a reef tank
I have a reef tank and i've always have added tangs but I recently went through an ich wave and lost the two I had that I had for about 1.5 years. (It sucks) Anyways, I was wondering what other types of fish are reef safe. I have 65 gallon reef tank (48"long X 20" high) I have SPS and xenia. Any thoughts from my fellow reefers. Thanks!

clown fish are a good start.
wrasses are cool. theres to many to list. goto the LFS look around write down the fish you like. do your homework on them than buy em with a full reef you might want to avoid angels ( nipping corals ) but people have had mixxed experiences with them |

Thanks for you comment. Yeah Ive tried angels and had mixxed experience. Tangs are great fish but they are so prone to ich I would like to get fish that are harty but won't eat my coarls.

Here's my experience so far:
Ocellaris Clowns - Hardy, reef-safe, playful, larger one bullies firefish, Firefish - Hardy, reef-safe, pretty, keep to themselves Flame Angel - Pretty hardy, tore up corals, nippy, but beautiful (got rid of him) Lawnmower Blenny - Pretty hardy, interesting looking (changes colors), reef safe Pajama Cardinal - Hardy, reef-safe, boring, kind of pretty Good Luck!
