Chiller question, A quick answer would be great

I am in the process of hooking up my 1/5 HP JBJ chiller to my 90 Gallon tank. We are going to pump it out of the sump, is the return back to the sump going to be a problem and/or should we go straight into the tank on the return? Also, Is using PVC Primer and glue ok or is there something better? Thanks

I would not use the primer. That should work pumping in and out of the sump.

We have the return going into the sump without problems. I guess the efficiency that way will depend somewhat on how much flow through the sump you have. I think it would be a bad idea to have it come out of one place and go into another, in case there's a failure of a pump somewhere in the system, but I'm no plumbing expert.
