UV sterilizer recommendation

I would appreciate some input here. i would like to add a UV sterilizer to an existing tank with the intent to help control bubble algae which has plagued me for some time.

I see sterilizers ranging in price from Turbo Twist to Jebao. What are your thoughts on this. Are UV sterilizers just a tube with water passing around a light source or is there more to this?

Current tank is 75 gallons but I am upgrading to 180 soon.

I'm also interested in thoughts on level of control i will achieve. I have been told that since bubble algae reproduces as spores in the water it will be impacted by UV. Whereas the good coraline algae is encrusting and will not.

I would not want to negatively affect the coraline algae that thrives in my tank.

thanks
