I have had success keeping two large clowns with two peacocks (on different occasions) The clown had to be large and aggressive/bold. However, when first introduced, i noticed both times the clown was probably scared and stressed. On top of a new environment, there was a huge predator downstairs. However, I would feed him very well with spectrum and mysis and they both pulled through and lost the stressed signatures within a week or so. I tried putting an anemone in there to assist the clown and help him feel more comfortable, but a peacock tank is hard to keep the nitrates low due to them burying their molts and the live food occasionally offered.... In the future I want to add a large refugium/sump to battle the nitrates. I recently added a 50ft coil denitrator about two months ago, so hopefully the nitrates will start to drop soon...
