Generally having community fish isn't a good idea for a couple of reasons. It is stressful to catch and relocate on a semi-regular basis. Not to mention using a fish to help cure a disease and then put that fish in someone elses tank. Plus in that situation the new borrower would have to quarantine for a few weeks to make sure the new fish won't bring in a disease. And potentially that's a lot of medicine and added stress. I like the idea of something like this and it would be beneficial to have something like this. I just don't think a fish is right for the job. Just my .02
