Why would you need a hybrid impeller if this venturi goes on the output side of the pump. If I understand correctly. I have a 3D printer. Don't have mad cad skills, although it does not seem that hard to design the venturi. My current skimmer works well. It seams to you could use a smaller pump with this design and cut electrical usage and have the same or better performance.

240G mixed reef, 29G SPS/LPS clam tank, 50G mixed reef
