Question New pics What are these????

What is this?? It kind looks like a mushroom, it was a hitchiker we got with the live rock







This one is the same but it is smaller and not opened they are both solid hard.

Hard to tell from the pics but based on the first pic I'd guess a fungia polyp, esp if it has a hard calcerous skeleton. In any case unless it's identified as not reef safe I'd allow it to grow in your tank.

Alright sounds good... their really hard too... they havent grown at all that weve noticed since they appeared.. hopefully their reef safe!!!!

it reminds me of a brain coral skeleton. Most hard corals I dont think would make the trip out of water that most live rock goes through.

Looks like a plate coral and frogspawn skeleton with all the flesh gone. If its just the skeletons it shouldn't cause any problems.
