Acrylic to Glass

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times, but...
I'm building an acrylic overflow for my glass tank.
whats the best way to bond the overflow to the tank?
Thanks-

I just purchased some dow corning 795 for this task. I read a few people say they had been using it for years in reef tanks but honestly i'm still a bit hesitant to actually pull the trigger on it.

Any experience (either positive or negative) with this stuff ladies/gents??
