Has anyone tried to "soundproof" their Tank? Care to share any details?

trade your equipment for the most quiet you can find. I've had a natulis te on my tank for three years and blamed the noise on my external overflow. I liked the TE but realised there was some noise from the air intake tube and bought a coralife 65 and the noise is very diffrient. I was definently supprised how much of a diff it made. With the old stand I used 2" foam on the under side of the top of the stand to help absorb some of the noise, which helped a little. If you would use it more places Im sure it would quiet things down more.

Sound and perameters go hand in hand.

I was trying to find a way to soundproof as well. I just picked up a twin size foam bed pad, and I am going to cut that up into squares and see how that works out.

Relocate your sump to the basement.
