gracilaria and chaeto

Is it possible to grow both red gracilaria and chaeto is the same fuge??

Will one take over the other??

I would guess that only would survive over time unless the dominant one was clipped regularly. Gracilaria requires fairly specific conditions, so that's another consideration.

I haven't been successful at growing it, but supposedly it needs moderate lighting and a constant tumbling.

Chaeto and Graciliaria will grow fine in a refugium together - just do your research on Gracillaria's requirements. Chaeto will do fine in a "gracillaria" optimized setup - it is very flexible.

Just put an eggcrate divider between them to keep things organized....
