Spider webs?

Hey just wanted to know if I should start to worry when I see what looks like a spider web growth going from the base rock to the tip of one of my sps's.
Should I be worried or is this creature trying to capture food?
Will it bring harm to that colony?

vermetid snail?

A pic would help but isn't it just a vermetid snail? A harmless sessile invertebrate using the slimy web to catch food. It could irritate a colony a bit but not harm it. Check this link

Do you have any Wrasse that sleep amongst the rockwork? Some of them coccoon themselves at night from predators, it could be that floating in the current and getting caught on the coral. If it is, the coccoons are harmless.
