My wife always jokes that I need to put in a glass floor and fill the basement with water for my next upgrade.

as the story goes there is a guy in Toronto that build his house around a 50,000gal circular tank in the middle of it
I have heard the story many times but I still can't substantiate it even with running a thread here
If it is true--wow--can you imagine watching the superbowl surrounded by 50,000 gals of swiming tangs--kinda like that Telus commercial

Awesome Tangs Everyone....Naso is my Favorite

I've got a 2-1/2 - 3" naso in QT right now. I wasn't going to get a tang for my 75 but I couldn't resist him. He was the smallest naso I've seen and he looked so sad in the 10 gal at the LFS. He looks a little thin at the moment but he's been eating like a hog. I hope he fattens up like some of the other beautiful Naso tangs I saw here.

I have them both in my 125, but I have been planning on a 180 upgrade within the next few months.

Thanks! Yes, they are very beautiful!

Well, I've had the tank up and running for about 2 years now, and about 7 months ago I decided to totally change my stocking. I sold my old fish to some locals and added the PT in September. Its about 4-5". It came from two reefers before me, so this is its 3rd tank. Very hardy fish.

The Sohal I bought in November. Its about 5". It was brought into a LFS, then went to a locals tank (75 gallon) and was a terror. The person brought it back to the LFS and it sat there for about 6 months.

It eats like a pig though. I keep feeding it more and more and I can already see why people say they grow fast. Its aggression is also growing and it has assumed the dominant position in the tank. I added new fire shrimp the other day and the Sohal made very short work of it Very mean fish, yet so beautiful!

mine is the same-- a very bold fish and territorial--every new addition has to meet his approval--I think they are just flexing their muscles a little

You know they are on the aggressive when they back into another fish and use those razor sharp bony extensions on the caudal fin

I couldn't give away a tang I raised to that size any more then I could give away my yellow lab

---and I know my wife feels the same way---so that's why I asking questions here----I'm not a tang cop--honest---I have a sailfin, regal and yellow in my 110gal---and I don't think they would approve.
