Just in case I can talk him into letting me get one how much are the little guys and what is it like to take care of them?

Oh and your Akita (sorry I'm a bad speller) IS A BEAUTFUL DOG!
Thanks =) He's a Shiba Inu which descends from the Akitas. He's the smallest in the class... they were bred in Japan for boar hunting and going down into tunnels.

Here are some photos of when he was a puppy.

Two years old.

And a kewl shot from when he was younger:

Gliders are easy to take care of but they are specialized. It requires a lot of work to keep them happy. They need to be in groups, singles won't work. They need fresh fruit every day. Normals are around $50 to $100... White Faced Blondes are about $200... the all white leucistics are about $1700... and the White Variations are $2500 and up.

This lil guy (paradox) cost me $5000k. They just produced their first baby which I sold for $2500:

His first offspring white variation. Her name is Miyu :

FYI - $5000k is $5,000,000 so you need to charge more for the babies.

Miyu is very cute. I think it would be nicer if it was over here. I wonder if it would like my suncoral tank. Hmmmm.....

NG - Miyu? Where'd you get the name? I'm guessing that you have a thing for Japanese culture. I had no idea that sugar gliders were so expensive ... 5 MILLLION dollars.

I will post some photos when we get it.

haha yea typo. My mind doesn't catch up to my fingers sometimes when I'm typing :P

No tanks, need wire cages with lots of space to glide.

lol... okay okay I get it!

Miyu means "superior beauty". I didn't name her, her new mama did. I think it's a cute name though.

Yea I like Japanese culture.. especially shibas and koi fish!

I'm not NanoGurl, but Fosters & smith have RC on sale, and their shipping is very reasonable. I can get it shipped less than at the lfs.

Good price on the salt, very fair shipping costs. I ordered four buckets myself and thinking that will last for about year (hope).

Not sure if I change water as often as I should. How long do you think your order will last?

I have a 72g bow with a 55g frag tank plumbed in (total volume about 160-170g with sump fuge and all) and I go through a bucket of RC about every 4-6weeks. I get them at a pretty good price at the LFS just a few $$$ more then the good Drs.

It's the best price I've found... especially when you order a few to even out shipping.

I don't know how long it will last... not that long considering I'm upgrading tanks and having to make new water and such... so I will probably have to place another order in a few months.

Marco Rocks Update!!

Okay, it wasn't that exciting.. but we got some of the marco rocks today. 2 packages out of 3 arrived... one is missing and will probably show up tomorrow. We ordered 100 pounds of figi and 20 pounds of the tonga shelf rock. The tonga is what didn't show up.

50 pound box.

Logo.

Packaging was pretty good.

Ahhh... first glimpse. lol

100 pounds of marco rocks on our floor.

Another view.

There were some nice pieces in here... I don't think I would order again though =)

Were you able to request the size rock you wanted? And if so did they deliver?
