My desjardini just came down with ich. Took me an hour to catch him, but he's now being treated.

Had him 1 year, 75gal, 6"

you can bump all you want.......... but its STILL going to be at LEAST a few months before I can get some tangs to take a picture of, in my tank that doesn't exist yet

I can understand your impatience, but geez!

What's you feeling on three tangs in a 120 gal--a picked up a little flack on another thread
I think I compensate for swimming room by the flow--it is 45 times the tank volume per hour in the tank itself
The tangs seem to like to float down with the current from the koriias in the corners and swimm back up against the flow

Should be ok for a little while!

I'm no expert but I had a 120 with 2 of these Tangs, the Sailfin and the Hippo. I assume this 120 is 4'x2'x2'?

They got along great but they were only in this tank together for about a year and a half. The Sailfin was about 6" and the Hippo about 5" when they went into a 180.

I think when you include the Yellow Tang you will eventually have too many fish.

What it looks like to me is that you need to start planning a larger tank.

Your tank looks great, just imagine what you could do with something bigger!

oh if you only knew-----it's only a matter of convincing my wife
I don't think the "this only cost 20 bucks" method is going to work when a 220 arrives

OK, I picked up a 6-7 inch Sohol for my new 265 and he's in QT for a couple weeks. I'll get a pic asap.

Don't hold your breath though, might bust something. :-)

Help ID the pattern difference

Both are about 2.5" but one with blue spots on the body and the other doesn't...is this a sex difference?

Well I thought I would jump on the band-wagon as well. Since I read that this is not a Powder Brown it is a what ever you want to call it. I call it a Powder Brown.

Tank - 72gbow
Tang - Powder Brown
Name- Lilly

I've had "her" for almost a year now and she is about 4.5" long. I love this fish, she will eat right out of my hand. I call her a she because I got her when my wife and I thought we were going to have another baby and I wanted a daughter. So she is a she

nice tangs yes that is a powder brown. As for you flameangle they look great and i think that there is a sex difference i think the male is the one with no dots and the female is with the dots. I am not sure but thats what i think.
