LED lighting

any opinions on the LED lights that are supposedly as good as halides and t5's

i agree...look around at the other threads about it. This topic has been completely mauled over.

For now tho, unless you've got the money, T5's and MH are the way to go. Each one has its benefit and whatnot.

But the solaris stuff is so new its not really been tested out a whole ton imo.

They are so insanely expensive at this point - new technology. Give it a couple years to work out the kinks and drive the price down and then they will have something.
