Question fish diseases

I'm see this crusty white stuff on the scales of my clown loach and mandarin goby. Anyone know what it might be and how to cure it?

Is this supposed to be a joke. If it is, it isn't such a good one. If you are serious, Mike...the clown loach in a reef is quite dead and the "crusty white stuff" is the least of its problems.
