sump-less skimmer

HELP PLEASE!! I have a 90 gal. corner tank that has been up and running for 2 months. I would lilke to add a skimmer, but have little room for a sump, and the tank fits tight to the walls, so no room for a hang-on. My question is: D & D marine Ent. makes a sump-less conversion kit for the Terminator II skimmer. Supposedly functions like a canister filter. Is anyone out there familiar with this skimmer?

Your best bet would be to pull the tank out a bit, get a HOB overflow and setup a small sump under the tank or just pull the tank out and put a HOB skimmer on it.

I wish I could answer that question for you. This is what you are talking about correct?

Terminator II Protein skimmer

Sumpless Kit for Terminator II Protein Skimmer

There has got to be somebody using this that can chime in here.

sump-less skimmer

Yeah, that's the one. Surely somebody has used this skimmer before. The reason there is no room under the stand is because there is a divider built into the middle of the stand for support, leaving two small triangular spaces. Thanks for trying.
