Coralife PC Ballast going bad??

I have 2 Coralife Aqualight fixtures on my 40 gallon tank. One is 1 X 96 W PC and the other is 2 X 96W PC. I bought both about 2.5 years ago and have changed the bulbs twice.

I tend to wonder if my ballasts are going bad. Every now and then, I see an imperceptible "twitch" in the lighting. One of those "did I see that or didn't I?" moments. In addition, I just changed bulbs about 1.5 months ago and it just doesn't seem as bright, I can't prove it, just one of those "gut" feelings that the lights are not as bright as before.

How long do ballasts last ? Does it seem like mine are going bad? And does any one have any experience with changing ballasts on a Coralife Aqualight?

Well, I confirmed the ballast was bad. The light no longer works

just find a small electronic workhorse ballast and use one of those,
otherwise, you might want to try contacting esu or or central pet(owners of esu/coralife) to see if you can get a replacement ballast, but i stongly doubt they will be able to accomodate you.
