SPS "colonies" $20 for all, pickup ASAP

I went to ostrow's to get some "frags" he was selling and after stocking my tank, my brother's nano, and my sister-in-law's tank I still have extras. Thanks again Joel. They're in a bucket with a pump for circulation but I would like them to be picked up ASAP in Streamwood....

There's a piece of poccilipora, a purple tipped stag, 8" diameter confusa, and a few others that are browned out abit so I cant tell what they are. Im guessing the confusa alone is worth alot more than the $20.

Im just trying to recoup the money I spent on gas to get these corals, otherwise they'd be free......

Pickup in Streamwood ASAP (hopefully within an hour or so)

They should still be okay at 5:30 I would guess. I had someone message me earlier but the soonest he can get out was 8:30, so I would rather they went to you.....

Keep an eye on this thread and we'll see if anyone can get here sooner.

Unfortunately theyve been in bags since yesterday afternoon so I dont want them to wait any longer than needed.....

I guess the upside is that I stocked 3 tanks with some nice corals.

I was worried you wouldn't have room for them. And thanks for just recouping gas. That's what I did ... I used up an entire tank on this project yesterday! Filled in the morning, and re-filled this morning.

Hopefully the remaining ones will find homes.

Im not here to make money.... I know with the size of these things I could EASILY have 40 frags and sell those for $5 each, but I just want them to be in a good tank....

They were just too big Joel, theyre insane. We literally PACKED my sister in laws tank, and now Im putting the large pieces into my tank....

That confusa is just enormous. We each to a good size frag from it for out tanks and its still gotta be 8" in diameter....

Yep.

Same here ... I hated to charge anything but after driving all over kingdom come, and one person bailing on me and then the store without power, I needed to pay for the gas too!

Cheers! And cheers to Jose too!

Looks like theyre going to aiko670, he can be here in 20 minutes...

Dont worry, once he sees how huge the pieces are (might be bigger than him) i'm sure he will be fragging them as well....

Listen for a knock, as he may not be able to reach the doorbell.

And anybody who was on the last tour knows that aiko is the master Frag sniper. Mr "Skip the meeting in Tinley Park and drive straight to Terre Haute".

Good thing everything there pretty much sucked and was overpriced anyway. LOL

I got some of those colonies from Joel last night...I told him about you being in the market for some larger pieces. That Confusa was the size of a toaster....it was huge.
I got some beautiful pieces, pink montipora (unbelievable HOT PINK TOO) baby blue stag, some kind of tabling piece that was huge and another unknown piece a good 8". They have all kept their color and have extended their polyps big time this morning when I fed the tank some oyster eggs.
Can't thank you enough Joel, it was nice seeing you again.
I almost forgot...I have a nice, giant frilly mushroom for when you get your son's nano started. JLMK when you're ready for it.

Youre not kidding Nina... heres 2 of them I got from him today. These were SMALLER than the ones we put into my sister in laws tank....

I honestly had to get rid of these extras this way, they were just too big.

Those are easily 7-8" plus another inch or two into the rock...

To continue the praise of Joel, I did a trade with him for my 24 aquapod and all I can say is: Thank goodness my frag system is 250 gallons...

Great Guy, Great trade..

'Teal Cobra is also "Da Man" when it comes to doing a good trade.

If anyone needs room I can run the frag hotel...
