Aquarium sizes for the CS1 DIY Kit

I will be running a 40g main tank with a 30gallon sump would this skimmer be to much for my system. It will most likely be heavily stocked with fish and corals.

Disabled Vet

Current Tank Info: Have a Neo Nano just set up.

Hi Heath

Hard to say. That is right on the border of what I would consider a minimum water volume. I tell people with 75 gallon tanks that the CS1 is a good fit, but they typically have 10-20 gal in the sump, so 75-80gal total. You'll probably be fine if you're feeding a lot, that will give the skimmer something to do.
