lighting question....

At the moment I am running a T5 luminaire (3x24W) totaling 72W.I am not very happy with the intercity of the light nor the penetration since my tank is 18" deep.
I have found this little MH that looks great for my tank( the 70w):

Now I know the whole T5 over MH argument has been covered over and over,so what I'm looking for is constructive ideas and suggestions!
I would like some hard corals in the future and I think if I go for the 20K kelvin bulb I will get nice colors...(I really like the blueish white crispness)
Since here in the UK electricity is expensive (or at least more expensive than the US) I don't want to go for 150w..does anyone have examples of 70w MH on a 80 liter tank?pictures and experiences are most welcome!
Also the brace my tank has is right across the middle of the top,if i position the MH above this (around 10" is my plan) how much if at all will it affect the light reaching the tank?
Any ideas suggestions are welcome to help me decide!

Thanks

it seems alittle high up for a 70w mh. i would just try to get some more t5 lights, especially since you have a center brace on your tank. even with a 150 mh in the center there will still be a shadow in the tank. i would stick with t5.
