My leather coral (purchased from Reefer Madness) started at ~4", grew to over 24" diameter in about 4 years, I sold it 3 years ago, and my friend still has it... This pic is in my old 170g tank, 60"x24"x27"h, when it was about 18"...the rbta next to it also grew to over 2' across!

My neon green sinularia forest! It took a few years to grow it from frags. Guess what is my favorite coral? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VPxekSC...e_gdata_player

That is awesome! I've been wanting to do something similar in my tank for a long time.

Without counting, I would guess that I have ~20 PS gorgs ...here are 2 of them, each ~2' tall (27"h tank)

Albano that's incredible, I'd love to have some gorgs but have never been game enough. How hard are they to keep?
Also do you have a link for a tank journal or some more pics as I'd love to see the rest of it!

it's a pipe organ. would be better if i used a real camera but the maroon/red skeletal base is about 12" tall and is the best part of the coral in my opinion. had been running it at 250w on a selectable ballast but recently added some sps and took it to 400w on a new higher par 14k bulb which it did not like at all. it used to be bright green and lost some of that...went back to a radium on 250 and the green is coming back. but that is probably why it looks like xenia - i fried it for a few days. if i had that much pulsing xenia i would seriously consider dropping bleach in haha
