SPS Maintenance

How are you maintaining calcium and alk etc in a nano tank for sps corals?

i have always ran some type of calcium reactor in the past, but was curious if it is particularly difficult ot dose 2 parts or some other method that is highly successful?

Some people say doing regular weekly water changes will do. Others dose the tank with part A and B.

Litermeter 3 for auto top off and 2 LM3 remote pumps for ESV 2 part dosing.

For calc and alk, I use tropic marin bio calcium. I think it's easier than two part additives and safer than dripping kalkwasser, after having tried both these methods. Each method can work in a nano, imo.

I recently started using a DIY two part (actually 3 part, since there is a Mg supplement as well). The SPS in the tank are growing better since starting this new dosing regimen. It also has the added benefit of allowing me to adjust just the Alk or Ca if they get out of whack.
