Thanks. Fish were introduced within a couple weeks. Sand and rock were all from several smaller systems that I basically combined into 1 so they were already established. The powder brown has only been aggressive when i attempted to add a powder blue a while back. Not a good idea in a 150g (maybe a 300g) Otherwise he's a model citizen.

Some updates/changes. Frag system expanded. 38 gal tank removed and a 50 gal tub installed. Lumenarc III 250w MH.

And swapped in the (2) Luminarcs w/250w HQI Phoenix 14k's Man I really got to clean up those wires.

WOW! I am just amazed and a very inspired. I have no room for anything like this but someday will come. Right now my 72 will have to do.

I did read that there are tank tours? Is this in fact true and if so how often do they happen? I live in East Granby and have never seen anything like this set up and would love too someday. I was hoping to make it to the reef club meeting tommorrow but I am unfortunalty not going to be able to make it. Hopefully next month.

Take care and thanks for the inspiration.

Scott

Thanks Melev and birmy.

birmy, CTARS usually does a couple tank tours a year. Next one will likely be sometime in spring. Check out ctars.org for upcomming events.

I know it was a long time ago, but is your overflow drain feeding you skimmer directly?? Do you have any problems with that setup...Does everyone pretty much do it this way with the recircing skimmers. A lot of ?? I know, sorry

Yes, my overflow is feeding my skimmer. No problems at all. Can't speak for everyone. I know many do feed this way. Saves elec on a feed pump. Mine is plumbed with a ball valve to reg flow input. No apology necessary.

Few more of new tub. Like the surface area of these. Light is all wired. 250w Reeflux 12k. Nice color. It will have a shallow sandbed for light reflection mostly. Water is mixing up now. I also broke down the refugium from the top shelf. The drain needs to be replumbed. Just waiting on a bulkhead.

Also modified a drop bracket on the light bar to bring the T5 supps to the same level as the Halides. Moved a second fan from the sump area . Made it a side by side setup. They blow heat toward the ventilation fan then to the outside. Works good. At some point I'll remove the rest of the T5 end caps but for now they'll stay.

It is really coming along nicely.

What's the plan with all the other T5 sockets mounted above?

how are you getting water to your fuge?gravity fed? Your blueprint looks like the fuge is a little high for gravity.

Thanks again for all the compliments everyone.

Marc, no plans for all the T5 sockets at the moment. Will likely disassemble them all soon.

dover101: The fuge is fed by "T" off the main return pump. I run a Dart that supplies plenty of flow needed. I even have to dial it back some.

HaloStalker: thanks and welcome to RC. It's a great place.
