Cut the light to about 6 hours a day
Use 100% RO - that's your problem right there.

How much flow do you have?
Regular water changes?
Any phosphate remover?

have you tested all your levels? what are the results?

At two months you can't expect anything to be settled in. The cycle of algae blooms often lasts into month three. As stated above you should be using 100% RO. Keep your parameters in check. Change water often during this "break in" period. Do not add anything else (livestock) to the tank until it is settled. If you have fish, feed very lightly.

At this stage you shouldn't be worried about battling each algae bloom. You're just going to drive yourself crazy. Keep your methodology even and well researched. After three months the cycle of blooms in your new tank should have stabilized.

Best of luck.

...if you get confused, listen to the music play...

Current Tank Info: 40 breeder clown/anemone tank; RR 75 mixed corals and fish: radions over both, vortechs; one 37 cube fresh water with ryukin goldfish

ro/di water all the time plus a fuge lit 24/7 and you'd be rid of that in a few months.

Salinity 1.024-6; alkalinity 8.3-9.3 on KH scale; calcium 420; magnesium 1300, temp 78-80, nitrate .2. Ammonia 0. No filters: lps tank. Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, chromis, royal gramma basslet, tailspot blenny, ocellaris clown, yellow watchman, chestnut turbo snails, bristleworms, couple of hermits.
