I added a large Anemone to the tank. I was hoping my clown would host in it......Well after 10mins from putting it in the tank my perc was in heaven. I added it to my tank about 2 weeks ago he is loving the flow in the tank! He has moved a bit around the rock but stays right at the top close to one of my MH lights and close to a output from my 4-way. I have feed him once with a silverslide soaked in Selcon and he digested it in a day or two. My perc does not let my larger maroon clown come even close to it chases him away. Very funny to watch. I have moved my 4 actinic VHO URI bulbs closer to the water surface for better light penetration. They are about 3-4" above the water surface they made a big difference in the color of the tank compared to when I had them mounted 15-17" above. My MH were washing them out. I'm hoping to start on the framing of the tank to build it into the wall next week.

Thanks it is called a Heteractis magnifica. They are one of the harder to keep species. They like lots of light and good flow. My tank has lots of both.

Does not look like I will be getting him or her! The current owner does not want to rip his tank down just to catch him I hear from a friend he is still breaking the owners MH bulbs still. Maybe some day he will break down and catch him.

Hey, you are very modest, they are the toughest anemone to keep! You also forget, they need *large* tanks too.

Hey why don't u add a nice eel to that tank ? when it's fully dry walled ?
a large dragon moray would look sweet in there.

That is why I bought it I could not get over it's size! I have never seen any that big.

dchao: He does look small in the 300. He is doing really good and my clown loves him. The little guy goes after my large Angels if they get to close funny to watch.

sixxer: LOL yep getting close

cjvolitan: Not going to push my luck with one of those. But I would love to have one!

smokez01: Glad you liked the pics.

LisaD: No problem thanks for looking.

Dirk Diggler: Dirk thanks man.

Outstanding tank! I am about to set up a 240 FOWLR, I only hope it looks half as cool as your tank!

Some videos of feeding time would be sweet!
