Enough Flow?

I am currently planning my 75g tank. The return will be a LG pump that will have about 1000gph at the tank level and the returns will have DIY eductors on them. Just wondering if this may be enough flow in the tank or should I go ahead and plan to drill some holes and add a closed loop as well? I really hate powerheads or anything else in the tank itself. I am also interested in what people feel would be the best location and direction for the eductors?

If you're going with eductors are you going to put in check valves? or some kind of siphon break?

I don't think 1000 gph is enough for total tank circulation, especially since it will be mainly at the surface.

I do plan on siphon break holes just below the surface of the water so it isn't noticeable.

Here is a thread about the set up I am looking at. This person has the same pump and his eductors are the ones I built. He is using them on a 90 gallon and claims to get a lot of flow from them.
