Anyone breeding Brine shrimp for food

Looking for some feedback on raising brine for food. Bred some
tomatoes a few years back and had "green water" for my brine tank. Wondering if this is a neccessity or whether they can survive in just well lit SW (create natural algae). Any info
would be great and any tips for the easiest method of
keeping a healthy stock. I've got a bunch of 5gallons kicking
around.

Cheers,
Brian

Hi, Brian. You might want to read up in the The Fish Breeding Forum here on Reef Central. It's filled with all sorts of information on culturing and maintaining live foods for both general feeding and raising babies. The sticky at the top of the page is very informative.

Thanks Travis, I thought about that after I didn't get much feedback. I'll browse around in that forum .

Cheers,
Brian
